STEVE BAGWELL is managing editor of the News-Register at McMinnville, Oregon. Previously, he held newsroom positions at the Bend Bulletin, the Salem Statesman Journal, the Idaho Statesman and the Daily Astorian. He teaches journalism at Oregon State University and Linfield College. He lives in McMinnville, Oregon.
