Paradox Politics: People and Power in Idaho (1988) was where we started. It told the story of politics in Idaho over the last half-century up to the mid-80s, and a varied and entertaining story it was, with colorful figures, scandal and stolen elections (or allegations of same), dramatic reversals and more. Idaho politics has changed a bit in the years since. A few copies remain available, but this edition is nearly out of print. Updated in 2009.
